There's something more to what you're feeling.

"I'm feeling really anxious about going to tonight's dinner party."

The chances are that you've found yourself saying some variation of this statement.
In this case, how do you KNOW that what you're feeling is anxiety?

This question often stumps people when I first start inviting them to be curious from a somatic (body) prospective.

That's fair! Paying attention to what we're experiencing in our body is not something we're often taught how to do!

We may have been taught to 'be with our feelings', but it's rare to be curious about what's happening in our body.

Bringing awareness to how our system responds is SO important.

It's an opportunity to get to know ourselves at a whole new and different level.
When we learn to support ourselves from that place there's so much room for healing and growth!

A warning...awareness can also be really annoying at first and ignorance can be "bliss".

Awareness isn't reversible, but I promise you it's SO worth it!
