Why you NEED to bring awareness to your nervous system!

So everyone’s talking about the nervous system.
Which is great! But do you even have a sense of what the heck it is and why it’s so important to support yourself at that level?

Your nervous system is the communicating system between your body to your brain and your brain to your body (in no particular order). The importance is in us having good regulation onboard so our system, brain and body function the way they are designed to.

However, THAT WON’T HAPPEN IF WE’RE STUCK IN SURVIVAL!

We need to support ourselves in order to move out of our trauma. To do so we have to give ourselves that support somatically and at the level of our nervous system.

We have to learn how to listen to our survival physiology and to find the tools to move ourselves out of survival.

The more we do that, the more our other practices will start to have greater impact on how we show up and allow us to stop ourselves from resorting back to the patterns we get stuck in.
